28th Wedding Anniversary

Yesterday was my 28th Wedding Anniversary. I've been trying to think of something to post because it is significant and I have posted in year's past. What lovely song could I come up with? How about several by the same artist?

So here it is, three songs for my wonderful and beautiful wife.

My First, My Last, My Everything - Barry White

I was looking at some other posts that were from Ally McBeal, Vonda Shepard songs. Then it hit me, I remembered the sceene below from the show. While the video isn't about love, I believe that the song is.

Since I'm looking at Barry White songs how about Can't Get Enough Of Your Love

Barry really knows how to sing it out, You're the One I Need; I really like this one. Interesting video below. Some day I hope I can learn how to make videos.

Oh Darling - Beatles

I woke up with this song in my head this morning. It's been a while since I listened to it. I personally consider it a love song. The video has Spanish subtitles, but what I like about are the photos of the the Beatles with their wives. Plus, the sound quality is good.

10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord) - Matt Redman

The praise team did this song at church this past Sunday. The song continues to play in my mind.

Waiting Here For You - Christy Nochels

I woke up with this praise song in my head this morning.

Here's another version of the same song.

One Thing Remains

For a few months now I've been working with the Praise Team at church doing the music/lyrics slides. It has been a blast! I've really been getting into the music. I've been getting into the music so much so that I have much of the praise music in my head all of the time. Below is a video of one of the songs. The lyrics that really stick in my head are:
Your love never fails
It never gives up
It never runs out on me.
That is powerful; that is comforting. Please enjoy.

The House That Built Me - Miranda Lambert

It's been a long time since I posted. Blogger had changed the way I log in and for some reason it has taken me this long to figure out how to log in.

I woke up with this song in my head this morning. It's a sweet song that brings many memories; it always brings a tear to my eye. In my case it reminds me of the house I grew up in across from Bayview Park. It was a wonderful house and I believe my mother was very proud of that house. When I was a child I hid some of my toys in the attic. The attic could only be accessed from the closet in my bedroom. I wonder to this day if those toys are still in the attic.

Below is the YouTube video. Unfortunately it has an advertisement.
