| Another song from the Grey's Anatomy Vol. 4 CD. This song was in my head since about 3:30 am. Kind of crazy, so I had to post it.
Some people may already know about this artist, but it is only through CD's like the Grey's Anatomy soundtracks that I get exposed to many of these artists. So I am thankful for the soundtracks and the new music they expose me to. The video is just the album art and the music. There are other videos, but the sound wasn't very good. So, I chose good sound just in case you were like me and never heard this before. Enjoy. |
I wake up with a song in my head almost every morning. Usually it is a song that it in my iTunes library, but not always. I intend to blog these songs and whatever else is on my mind when I wake up.

Stare Into The Sun - Graffiti6
| This song has been in my head off and on for a few days; this morning it was in my head when I woke up. I've been riding my bike on the rollers three days in a row now. That is why this song is my head as it is on my iPod Shuffle. It's a great song to ride to while riding on the rollers. This is the second song off the Grey's Anatomy Vol. 4 CD that I have blogged about. There are several songs off that CD that are in my playlist that I really like. Makes me wonder if I shouldn't listen to the other songs on the CD again to see if they also deserve to be on my playlist. I've included two videos. The first one is pretty strange, but still interesting. The second one is just the lyrics. |

Entwined - Tim Myers
| I'm sort of a day late on this post because this is my Valentine's song. I really didn't come up with it until near the end of the day when I was listening to my music while riding the rollers. This song played and then it hit me; this was the song for the day. This was the song for Valentine's Day.
This song is on the Grey's Anatomy Vol. 4 CD. I can't tell you how happy I was when they finally release Vol. 4. There are several good songs that I have put on my playlist. I can't say enough about this particular song. It is really a great song. Bottom line: I was made for you. |

Miss Halfway - Anya Marina
| This song popped into my head shortly after waking up. I'm glad it was not a Blood, Sweat & Tears song which has been in my head too long. I first came across this song on the Grey's Anatomy Vol.2 Soundtrack and have enjoyed it. It is disappointing to me that they stopped making Grey's Anatomy soundtracks after vol.3. I don't really know why that is other than they must have a fat contract with iTunes now which prohibits the compiling of additional volumes. Does anyone know? I for one would have kept on buying CD's, but I'm not going to iTunes to get my Grey's Anatomy music fix. I will say that I think I might need to get some CD's with more Anya Marina. She has a beautiful voice and I like her playing. |
There are a few videos available on YouTube. This one is rather plain, only a picture that I don't relate to, but the sound is good; this video is definitely for the music and the music only.

Running On Sunshine - Jesus Jackson
| I posted this back in October with a different video. I woke up with this song in my head this morning. I think the sun will shine today, but it is cold. Nice song; I hope I can carry the energy with me throughout the day. |

War On Sound - Moonbabies
| A song from the Grey's Anatomy soundtrack vol. 2. I'm not sure what I think of the video; it's definitely different. |

Universe & U - KT Tunstall
| I really like this song. Kind of mellow. Found this one on Grey's Anatomy Vol. 2 CD. |

Running On Sunshine - Jesus Jackson
| We've been getting lots of sunshine lately. My mind and heart has been full of sunshine the last couple of days as well. Music from Grey's Anatomy Vol. 3 CD. |

Multiply - Jamie Lidell
I'm so tired of repeatin' myself I'm tired too and beatin' myself up; I do hope that when I go under I do have a smile on my face. The skies are clear and blue, but things have got to get better. At least I have a different song in my head this morning. This song is on the Grey's Anatomy Vol. 2 CD. |

Homebird Sing - Foy Vance
| This song was in my head at 3am this morning. I actually woke up with I Hate Everyone, but I've been waking up with that song in my head for several mornings now. I'm not crazy about that song and even less so with the message; I want to love everyone, not hate everyone. So, Homebird Sing it is. This is on the Grey's Anatomy Soundtrack Vol. 2 CD. |

Sun Comes Up - John Legend
| Definitely a pattern here. This song has actually been in my head for days. Just a nice beat and the message is upbeat too. I really need the upbeat message. Yesterday while riding my bike this song was totally on my mind; really helped me to keep those pedals turning. Starting to run out of different videos to post of this song. |

Falling Or Flying - Grace Potter & The Nocturnals
| Wow. Twice in one week and the week is just half over. Is there some hidden meaning here? Am I lost and don't know it? Do I need to live everyday like it's my last? If nothing else, I'm trying to find different videos to post. There's no doubt it could be worse; it could be a terrible song repeating in my head; I actually like this song. |

Sun Comes Up - John Legend
| I wonder if there is a pattern here. This song made the first blog entry. Maybe it is just a good get up out of bed and get going song. |

I Hate Everyone - Get Set Go
| What a song to wake up to. NO, I don't hate everyone, and NO I don't hate you either. It's just a song, and I guess some days one just wakes up this way. Things haven't really been going my way lately, maybe that's why this song crept in. BTW, this song is on the Grey's Anatomy Vol. 2 CD; at least that's how I know about it. The video is just lyrics. There was a Youtube video shot in Bellingham that I almost used, but the audio wasn't very good. |

Falling Or Flying - Grace Potter & The Nocturnals
| It was bound to happen, I woke up with a song in my head that I already blogged about. Not really sure what to do about it. Blog it anyway or not blog? Well, the weekend is over and all the races too. My legs and body are sore. While I didn't put in outstanding performances I did learn that I still have a sprint and I learned other race lessons too. The Pensacola Bicycle Classic was successful and I'm really looking forward to it next year with more determination to put in better performances. Being tired, maybe today's song is appropriate. |

Falling Or Flying - Grace Potter & The Nocturnals
| It took a little while to sort this one out in my head this morning. Today is race day for the Pensacola Bicycle Classic. I would have liked something more up-beat, but this song is reflecting my mood and outlook this morning. Are we falling or flying, Are we living or dying? Interesting that this song too is on the Grey's Anatomy Vol. 3 CD; that's 3 songs of the 5 post I've done so far including this one. That CD has been popular in my head lately even though I haven't really listened to that much. Great song. The video has a short interview before the song performance. |

Young Folks - Peter, Bjorn & John
| This song has been in my head for a couple weeks. I first heard it on the Grey's Anatomy Vol. 3 soundtrack CD. I hardly ever listened to Vol. 3 as on the playlist I had the songs in sequential order starting with Vol. 1. Then I cleaned up the playlist to delete songs I didn't like. Then the iPod was on shuffle. I was amazed at the songs that played that I hadn't really heard before, this song being one of them. Shuffle can be a good thing. |

Sun Comes Up - John Legend
This song is so appropriate for the first entry. There are other YouTube videos, but I thought it more appropriate to use one featuring Grey's Anatomy as that is the soundtrack I heard the song from.
